Alexina Teubel, an assistant coach at Northern Iowa, took third in the women's race in 4:34.28 at the USATF 1 Mile Road Championships presented by Toyota, as part of the Grand Blue Mile presented by Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Des Moines, Iowa. Her previous-best finish at the event was seventh, including 2020.
